In the deep, frigid, pristine waters of British Columbia and Alaska, Pacific Spot Prawns are live-trap harvested. This sweet large prawn is brought on board the vessel live, finger packed, and frozen within minutes of the trap being pulled. Only the finest quality and the highest sanitary standards are adhered to in order for this delicacy to be eaten raw straight from the sea.

Each 1 kg box is size sorted and finger packed by hand. Produced to be shipped frozen by ocean container, these temperature-sensitive product demands that our sense of product control is maintained to the fullest as the majority of this frozen product is produced in the midst of summer.

Spot prawns have a delicate, sweet and bouncy flesh. They taste great both cooked and uncooked. The season runs between May – July of each year.
